Welcome! My name is Melissa Baker, LSW.

I am a licensed social worker who has worked with many diverse populations, including children and adults with disabilities & Their families, LGBTQIA + teens and adults addressing coming out and other issues specific to this population;, anxiety, depression, grief, binge eating disorders, building confidence and self-esteem. I have worked with individuals and in group settings.

My approach and how we work together will be uniquely tailored to the individual, the situations, and the current coping skills being utilized. Treatment techniques include Cognitive behavioral therapy, Disability-Affirming therapy, and Strength-based therapy, among other appropriate methods. I am open-minded, nonjudgmental, empathetic, & multicultural.
